Shred Fat Fast Survival Guide

HERE’S THE DEAL…
99.3 times out of 100, anytime the word “fast” is incorporated as an adjective when describing ones results with a workout routine, diet, or supplement protocol, you can safely assume one or more of the following things:
It’s a fad diet in question, and any and all results are based off eating patterns consistent with short-term weight loss with NO regard for long term maintenance. Meaning no matter what, the diet will not be sustainable, and often, the dieter will end up fatter than when they started. Sad truth.
“Results” are solely based off temporary water loss.
It’s all b*llshit psychological marketing tactics.

Get Fat to Get Lean

I’m actually very excited for today’s blog! More excited than usual! In the upcoming weeks, you’re going to hear me reiterate the following; a lot! Summer… is… coming!
Whether it is a Memorial Day Weekend get away, to get sexy for the beach, or if you just want to generally feel better and have more energy to engage in all the fun, exciting stuff the warm weather brings with, a lot of us are scrambling to get on some sort of diet or new workout routine (check my thats workouts here) in order to get their bodies looking prime for summer!

What a Sh*tty Day!

It happens. Not everyday is going to be filled with rainbows, unicorns, and dancing dwarfs “or” little people (not sure the politically correct term these days) giving you High 5’s while handing out free pizza and tequila shots.
Stress, hardship, and the feeling like you want to punch someone square in the jaw as hard as humanly possible, is an inevitable part of life. The key is to keep said feelings to a bare minimum, and more over, have a plan for when these emotions sneak up, take over and F up our day, and make us feel like the world is working diligently against us.

The 5 Best Ways To Cheat

We are all at some point going to succumb to temptation as it pertains to our respective diet plans. It’s a necessary evil at times, and from a mental stand point, can be extremely beneficial to ones psyche. That said, there are some “cheat meals” one can consume that will not dramatically hinder, off set, or completely derail their progress, as much as others.
Today we’ll look at 5 of the Best of the Worst as it relates Cheat Meals….

What to drink when getting drunk

I drink. To be perfectly honest, I feel not the slightest bit guilty admitting it, nor do I have a problem attesting to the fact that some of the best nights, trips, and vacations I’ve experienced, alcohol has been involved. As a general rule of thumb, these days, if my next day’s productivity is hindered in any way, shape, or form, the value of the previous night is negated, as my time is simply too valuable to be wasted laying around all day with a nasty hangover. So the key of course, is to indulge in moderation.

Dealing with Fitness Haters: How to

So, for all intensive purposes, and for the sake of this blog, when I reference “fitness”, we are talking about the 80% diet, 20% exercise equation. The “fitness’y lifestyle” respectively, is ultimately comprised of 2 sides; One side consists of the ones doing the damn thing, and the people who have started, or about to start doing the damn thing, the other is the person talking about the person doing said “damn thing”.

Looking Good Naked Is Nice, But…

Here we are about to wrap up the month of January, and while our friends in the Northeast have declared a state of emergency due to the blizzard of 2015, those of us in the Jacksonville, Tampa, and Orlando Florida areas have a little more than a month before beach season is once again in full effect.
The benefits of getting yourself in shape are obviously well documented and extensive but the reality is that the majority of said benefits have absolutely NOTHING to do with how good you look naked!

Mistakes You’re Probably Making in the Gym

The commencement of a New Year brings with it a batch of resolutions, as millions of people across the nation dedicate themselves, at least for the time being, to changing their bodies and bettering their lives. If you need validation that the New Year has arrived, look no further than your local gym where you’ll find a surplus of new members clanging and banging in the weight room, and walking or striding away in the cardio area trying to become the upgraded versions of themselves.

Getting a Six Pack For Dummies

Aside from eating a steadfast diet of predominantly fast food and soda, the biggest mistake a person can make when training to obtain an impressive set of abs is sticking to the same old workout of crunches, sit ups, and traditional planks all the time. These exercises are ok, but by no means should they be the only tools utilized to carve up your midsection. Like most people you’re probably somebody who hates change, but rest assured that incorporating new movements into your ab routine will not make your workouts longer; quite the opposite actually. What I’m about to teach you will not only provide you a more productive workout, but a shorter one as well.
