Eat this, not that

So I’m always looking for ways to diversify my diet and incorporate new concepts, fun recipes, and healthy alternatives to some of my favorite snacks to keep me mentally gratified, and that won’t screw up my progress and make me feel like a fat loser with zero discipline after the fact!
Throughout my journey I’ve realized the most effective way to avoid temptation with my diet is to stay ahead of it and incorporate foods and drinks that are not only good for me, but taste good as well!

I Lied To You

If you regularly read my blogs or follow me on social media, you may know how passionate I am about just how idiotic, irresponsible, unsustainable, and ineffective “no or low carb” diets are. You may also know that in the past as a result of a drastic carb restrictive diet, I screwed up my metabolism, attitude, sex drive, and gained fat in places I had never had fat before, leaving me in a state of depression for about 6 months…

Why You’re Still Fat 2.0

One of the more controversial but highly popular articles I’ve ever produced was titled “Why are you still fat?”, where I identified and called out a number of reasons and BS stories people come up with as far as why their not getting their bodies looking the way they want.

I was thrown in jail 17 times before my 18th Birthday…

Today I wanted to talk to you about change. You see, in today’s society, we are often forced into believing our past or present circumstances are what will ultimately dictate our future.
We are misled into accepting this fallacy as reality because it’s easier than the latter.
It requires no additional effort to just “settle”, accept mediocrity, and blend in with the average.

Cravings: How to deal

I just don’t. It’s not because I’m better than you, more disciplined, obsessed with my body looking a certain way, or am some fanatical health and fitness junkie, although some may perceive me as such. The reason I don’t get cravings is because I take aggressive action to ensure that’s the case.

Never Do This…

Do you weigh yourself daily?
What about multiple times a day on some days?
Does the reading on the scale have the unique ability to completely F up your day instantaneously?
Are you guilty of mentally terrorizing yourself on most days by letting a mechanical device control you life, offset your mood, and hinder your overall productivity on a given day?

Is your "diet" sustainable?

The only “diets” that work are the ones that DON’T leave you hungry after each meal, or cause you to fantasize about about cupcakes, cookies, ice cream, or any other miscellaneous bakery items intermittently throughout the day. If you are experiencing either of these factors, it’s because you’ve restricted your body of everything it wants, and in actuality really needs.

What’s Up With That Gut?

Do you ever struggle with unexplained weight gain, bloating, skin problems, indigestion, heart burn or gas? Up to 70% of Americans without even realizing it, are infected with colonies of a parasitic fungus that as we speak, are living inside of their intestines, causing a multitude of health related issues. What we eat can effect the way we look, feel, think, and behave.

Only A-holes Skip Breakfast

“Breakfast is the most important meal of the day”. So you’ve heard this sooooo many times I’m sure, but the reality is most of us actually have no idea why exactly this statement is true. Breakfast is actually defined as the meal where you literally “break the fast” of all the hours you have not eaten due to sleep. We have all been reminded more times than we would probably care to admit, to always consume a morning meal, yet 31 million Americans opt to skip breakfast regardless.

The Difference Between Winners and Losers

In today’s society there are winners, and there are losers. That may seem somewhat harsh, but it’s the reality of the world we live in. Human beings by nature are ego driven and competitive, it’s in our nature to always compete with others, even on a subconscious level, no matter how trivial the matter.
This is not a bad thing as “competition” is the most compelling force that ignites DRIVE. Whether we are competing against a friend, opponent, co-worker, or ourselves, there are some who more often than not “win”, and others who more often than not “lose”.
