Snack and Shred!

True Life:  I despise the words “SNACK”, “SNACKS”, and

“SNACKING”. Reason being, everyone has their own definition of the terms in question, and a lot of the time, we try and convince ourselves that mindless snacking is either helping by “speeding up our metabolisms”, or worse, we snack on “healthy snacks” that are not even remotely close to being healthy.
It’s important to always remember, we must eat, train, and yes, even snack (Grrrrr) according to our personal goals, and what it is we are looking to do with our bodies.

Today I’m going to outline a few late night snack ideas that will not only satisfy those proverbial late night cravings, but will also keep you on track with your goals.

IF YOUR PRIMARY GOAL IS WEIGHT LOSS OR LEANING OUT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE TRY…

Ingredients:

  • 5 egg whites (whisk until fluffy!)
  • 1 scoop of casein protein
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Walden Farms (0 calories) caramel syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Walden Farms (0 calories) chocolate syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon no carb baking powder

Instructions:

  1. Whisk egg whites, protein powder, cinnamon, and baking powder in a bowl until smooth consistency
  2. Heat a skillet with coconut oil to medium heat
  3. Drop the mix into the skillet separating by size pancake desired
  4. Cook 2 min approx. per side, until golden brown, (not burned) then flip and repeat!
  5. Lather the caramel and chocolate syrup on top.
  6. Inhale it!

Triple Chocolate Protein Ice Cream

Ingredients:

  • -1 scoop chocolate casein protein
  • -1 tablespoon Nuts N More Chocolate Almond Butter
  • -1 cup organic spinach leaves
  • -8-10 ice cubes
  • -2-2.5 oz. water (May have to play around with this to find the “perfect” consistency.
  • – Walden Farms calorie free Chocolate Syrup, or any Sugar Free Chocolate syrup

Instructions:

  1. Throw everything mentioned in a blender.
  2. Blend. (The goal is to have it come out thick as possible)
  3. Pour in bowl and commence to stuffing your face!

IF YOU’RE GOAL IS TO PACK ON SOME MASS OR GET AS JACKED AS POSSIBLE, THEN OPT WITH…..

Ingredients:

  • Cinnamon raisin bagel or Ezekiel bread
  • Nuts n More Peanut Butter
  • Sugar Free Grape Jelly
  • Unsweetened Vanilla almond milk

Instructions:

  1. Toast your bagel/Ezekiel bread
  2. Spread 1.5 tablespoons of your favorite Nuts n More PB on one side.  (Opt with Nuts n More over regular or natural PB as it’s protein infused)
  3. Spread 1 tablespoon sugar free jelly on other side
  4. Slap those 2 bad boys together and wash it down with a cold glass of Almond milk

Toasted PB + J and Almond Milk

Ingredients:

  • Desired flavored Clean Cheatz protein bar
  • Your favorite peanut or almond butter

Instructions:

  1. Slap a tablespoon of your favorite nut butter on your Clean Cheatz.
  2. Take a photo of your little creation and immediately upload to social media. If you skip this step it will NOT taste as good 🙂
  3. Enjoy! You’ve earned it….

Clean Cheatz w/ Peanut/Almond Butter

Ingredients:

  • Desired flavored Clean Cheatz protein bar
  • Your favorite peanut or almond butter

Instruction:

  1. Slap a tablespoon of your favorite nut butter on your Clean Cheatz.
  2. Take a photo of your little creation and immediately upload to social media. If you skip this step it will NOT taste as good 🙂
  3. Enjoy! You’ve earned it….
