How I Help My Team Win

A core value of Nutrition Solutions is “Help People”, and this is something we take very seriously.

Whether it be with our clients, contributions in the community, or the team of men and woman who come to work every day to make it all possible, one of the ways I’m able to help our team move forward is by having a policy in place that makes personal development mandatory for our entire staff.

And today, I thought I’d share with you the mandatory reading list I created for our team.

Personal development covers activities that improve awareness and identity, develop talents and potential, build human capital, and facilitate employability. They enhance the quality of life, contribute to the realization of dreams and aspirations, build or renewing identity/self-esteem, developing strengths, and enhance talents.

It’s also a mandatory bullet point of each team member’s job description. Whether it be a janitor at the ground level or an executive at the top of the chain of command, EVERYONE is responsible for some form of personal development 30 minutes a day, 6 days a week. No exceptions.

We don’t screw around enforcing this, and to be honest, just 6 days ago we terminated someone for not conforming to this policy.

Investing in personal development is what helped me go from being a drug dealing loser with no future to the CEO of a multi-million dollar company and a national influencer in only a few years.

Reading, watching YouTube videos, attending seminars, webinars, volunteering etc. It all matters and serves a higher purpose.

I know the value of personal development and understand the ONLY way to reach one’s full potential and experience a superior quality of life personally and professionally, is by making this investment in yourself and continually working one’s ass off in order to become a better human being.

The books and podcast I’ve listed here contain within them the roadmap and “secrets” to success, happiness, and accumulation of hundreds of millions of dollars of wealth.
