7 Superfoods You Need More Of!

Superfood is the term used to describe foods that are considered to be beneficial for overall health and well-being. Many superfoods contain vital nutrients and anti-oxidants that may provide a variety of health benefits including reducing the risk of developing heart disease and even certain cancers!

1. Eggs
Eggs contain essential vitamins and minerals including Retinol, vitamin D, Riboflavin, Folate, Vitamin B12, Choline, Biotin, Phosphorus, Iron, Zinc, Iodine, Selenium. They are also high in essential amino acids, healthy fats and are one of the healthiest foods on the planet.
2. Kale
 Kale is often referred to as the most nutrient dense green vegetable on the market.  Kale contains Vitamin K1, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin B6, Manganese, Copper, Calcium, and Potassium. Kale is also high in antioxidants which help protect the body against damaging free radicals.

 Coconut oil contains medium chain triglycerides (MCTs) which can be broken down by the liver and used as fuel. It has been shown to increase satiety / reduce hunger, boost your metabolism and improve brain function!
