How I got my confidence back

It’s hard as hell.

 I’ll be the first to admit it…

Staying consistent with healthy eating.

Getting in your workouts.

And balancing everything else life throws at us every day in our personal & professional lives is hard work.

But you know what makes life even harder?

Health problems. Weight management issues. Low energy. Poor confidence…

And struggling with your mental health because you don’t feel good in your own skin.

Now, I’ve never had weight issues.

But I used to be VERY insecure about my teeth.

Growing up I didn’t see a dentist regularly.

So the crooked teeth & overbite I had I had was never addressed.

Not to mention the chipped front teeth I ended up with from my more reckless days….

When I got out of the military (where you were mandatorily required to go see the dentist 2x a year) I fell back into my old ways & didn’t go to the dentist again for 8 years l.

My teeth were not just crooked & broken…

But due to my poor hygiene habits at the time, they also developed a “yellowish” tint to them.

Even though I did a decent job hiding them and never showed them if I smiled…

I legit hated my teeth.

I was insecure about them – and those feelings wrecked my confidence, made me angry and caused me to feel depressed.

It wasn’t until I got them fixed did I realize how profoundly the situation had been draining my energy & impacting my quality of life.

It was a pretty powerful thing reclaiming my confidence.

Because that confidence allowed me to be a better person.

It felt amazing.

I was no longer ashamed to smile and didn’t feel drained all the time from being self conscious about my appearance.

I noticed an immediate shift in my energy that started to impact every single area of my life in a positive way.

Truthfully, I even got in better shape!

How we feel about ourselves inside is more important to our prosperity, confidence and happiness as human beings than any other single factor.

When you feel good, you’re able to do good.

Whether it’s being better with your family, career, fitness, finances or relationships…

Our confidence is directly linked to our success because it allows us to be the very best version of ourselves.
