Chris Cavallini’s Supplement Guide 101

With all the different literature, psychological marketing efforts, and pyramid schemes out there, finding the right supplement protocol tailored to YOU and your needs can be overwhelming to say the very least! With that said, today I wanted to share with all of you my personal line up of supplements I utilize on a daily basis, along with some benefits of each. My objective here is not to make you an expert on all things nutrition, but to help you gain a better understanding of what’s out there and decide what will work best for you.
First and foremost, I will be the first to admit there is no shortage of bullsh*t readily available seemingly at every corner! Magic pills and powders in the aisles of our stores, and in the commercials on our televisions claiming to be able to turn an out of shape, gelatinous nerd, (pun intended) into a ruggedly handsome, Hollywood fitness model! The fact is and will always remain, the key to looking our very best relies predominantly on nutrition, with a secondary emphasis on exercise. Adding certain ESSENTIAL supplements into our routines can and will improve on efficiency immeasurably, but by no means will compensate for a poor nutrition program and sub par fitness regimen. The essential supplements I go on to list are essential for the simple fact that regardless of our personal goals (I.E. weight loss, lean muscle enhancement, higher levels of energy etc) we all can and will benefit from there usage immensely! The focus here being on the things that matter most from a general health, wellness, and anti aging standpoint. The good stuff that will help us all look, feel, and perform better each and everyday! Let’s take a look…

4) Probiotics

  • Reduces bad cholesterol and cases of high blood pressure
  • Lowers risk of infection
  • Enhances immune system and increases ones overall levels of energy and alertness

What I use:  Honestly, anything that comes out of a refrigerator with the highest bacteria count possible! (Billions not millions)  Typically the best one is the most expensive kind. Take note 🙂

By no means is the list of benefits I included comprehensive nor have I included detailed medical and scientific explanations of how/why they are able to do what they do. My goal was to compel you to do some research of your own, and be able to differentiate between fad supplementation and what’s essential as it pertains to longevity with ones overall health. Depending on what your personal goals and lifestyle habits entail there are several other supplements that could greatly serve you, however as I mentioned, what I’ve listed today are items we can all benefit from considerably. So do a little homework of your own and try this line up out for yourself. These items are very reasonably priced and will improve on your health and overall quality of life in a multitude of ways! Remember, you can’t put a price tag on your health and quite honestly, you have absolutely nothing to lose here, except maybe some extra weight and risk of sickness and disease. Make it happen!
