Fasting for 16,18, 20+ hours a day isn’t making you lean…
At best, it’s making you small, skinny fat, and weak.
Yes, longer fasts mean less time to consume calories.
But it also means less protein, less nutrients, and less opportunity for your body to build muscle.
And muscle is the only thing that changes how your body looks. (naked)
If you’re not getting in enough protein, your body will never look the way you want it to.
There’s 0 exceptions to that fact.
I’m gonna guess your goal is to:
Lose fat.
Build lean muscle.
Have more energy.
Feel more confident.
Am I right?
To make that happen we need to have the structure in place that forces that result.
One that gives you the ability to enjoy some of the health and wellness benefits associated with intermittent fasting…
While also giving you a long enough window to hit your daily protein goal.
By the way…
I think fasting is phenomenal from a health and longevity perspective.
I do at least 1, 24 hour fast every month.
But for fat loss, fasting is dramatically overrated.
So how long should you go between your last meal of the day and first meal of the next day?
If transforming your body composition is your primary goal…
14 hours is your sweet spot.
