The best detox….

If you’re like most, (myself included before 2013) you associate a detox or “cleanse” with 1 of 3 things:

1. Uncomfortable, lubricated tubes jammed up ones arse.

2. Starvation, deprivation, and accompanied spells of intense hunger.

3. Weird, disgusting food, or straight juices that taste like a goat’s dehydrated urine. (I’ve never had goat urine, but I’m assuming it’s not pleasant)

What if I told you that there are now detox options and smoothie recipes available that not only jumpstart your metabolism, but will help clean your system out and won’t leave you with a sore anus and walking funny for a couple days after the fact? That they actually taste amazing, can easily curb any sweet tooth, help you lose weight, and have scientifically been proven to cure the most common illness that millions of Americans suffer from daily, FLS syndrome?  (Feel like sh*t syndrome) 😉

Mango Carrot Cake

 
Fresh-Mango-Carrot-Smoothie

– 1 scoop vanilla protein
– 1 banana
– 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
– 1/4 cup mango purée
– 1 cup carrot juice
– 6-9 ice cubes

The Hulk (greens)

-1 cup almond milk
-1bananas
-1 cup chopped pineapple
-1 kiwi
-1.5 cups kale leaves
-6 ice cubes

 Cinnamon Roll

– 1 scoop vanilla protein

– 2 Frozen bananas
– 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
– 1.5 tsp cinnamon powder
– 1/2 tsp raw cacao powder
– 1 table spoon chocolate almond butter.
– sugar free maple syrup as desired

Nuts n more, Buff Bake, NutWhey, all make phenomenal protein infused chocolate almond butters that taste like cake frosting)
